Hey, hope you're having a great day. I hope this post makes it a tad better.
I've had an amazing time away at school camp for the weekend. It's called camp Poondi. It's a bit of land owned by the school far away from the main towns (yet villages are everywhere). There's a zipline (flying fox), rock climbing wall, archery, volleyball and a small raft for going onto the lake with.
The lake is currently at dangerously low levels, with a risk of drying up. You can see from the photo's how far away it is from it's normal height.
Even in Kodaikanal, the lake which gives life to the town is lowest it's been in several decades. The school currently running a campaign to lower water consumption by students and raise awareness in town.
Anyway, enough of that news, and enjoy the beauty of this place.

One thing that startled me was how similar everything felt. It kept on feeling like I was camping in Australia with school friends. I suppose that once I got back to nature, I saw how similar we all were. Singing and telling ghosts stories around the fire, memories that are similar to many other camping trips.
Had an absolute blast!
I'll try get an update blog out soon. School's work load has increased considerably.
May you all have a great week.
